What's Your Problem???

Life is always throwing something new our way, isn't it? No matter how old you are, no matter what your income level is, no matter who your family is, no matter where you live, there is always something going on in our lives that we would like to change or simply get rid of, right?

Why is this? Because life is really all about change. From one moment to the next, things are never the same. But we've become so used to this constant change, we often don't even see it anymore. We think we're in a rut, living Groundhog's Day over and over again. Yet that couldn't be farther from the truth!

Even if you're driving the same route to the same job every day, many things will be different.

The weather

The traffic

Your mood

How much sleep you got last night

The errands you have to run before or after work

These things and so many more will all be different, but often we focus on "the thing that's making life hard right now," aka The Problem.

We think we need to be constantly focused on The Problem in order to think up a solution to it. And yes, it's certainly possible that we might come up with a solution if we think long enough and hard enough.

But it really doesn't have to be that difficult! Often the solution will arise when we're engaged in something else entirely, like gardening, or doing the dishes, or listening to our favorite music.

Another great way to find solutions: breathwork!

Why breathwork? Because it cuts off the chatterbox in our brains and brings a sense of quiet and calm. It changes our brainwaves from beta to theta, which is where we're open to new discoveries.

It can also change the way our conscious mind and subconscious mind work together. This can open up new avenues of creativity and inspiration! An inspired solution to The Problem may suddenly pop into your head during a session or in the next day or week.

So if you're someone who has The Problem, I encourage you to give breathwork a try. Your very next breath could be the one that opens you up to The Solution!
